I would like the color for the Front door, but not the garage door. It would be more welcoming if you played up the entrance with color and accessories. I don't think there should be so much emphasis on garages and our need for the automobile. Garages usually take up 1/3 to 2/3's of our home's facade. Great Ideas. I was planning on something similar myself. I have the Hopen IKea Bed and removed the Headboard and wanted to put vinyl over the rest. It doesn't go with my other wood pieces I inherited and wanted to do an aqua or chartreuse vinyl then make a matching wall mounted tufted headboard. Bamboo is not good for floors. It should not be considered in the same category as ('hard') wood flooring. It is a type of grass. It is nice as a veneer for cabinets or furnishings, but do not expect it to last for flooring. It is not a very green product for flooring if it will need to be replaced. I've been reading posts about mold in the home on Apartment Therapy. Moss is a fungi like mold with spores that can spread. Does anyone know if a moss lawn can spread mold growth to your home? That is my only concern. Moss lawns look cool, but there is enough mold scare out there and prevtion tips on getting rid of mold.
