why not try covering the vanity with contact paper or mod pod and decorative paper?
this would be a very inexpensive way to hide the pink. add some inexpensive chrome pulls and paint the wood trim white.
i would also paint the walls white.
your shower curtain is great and should be the inspiration.

i think the blue works fine. use the rug and the accessories to pull the room together.
one tip that would help with the scale of things...cut the grass in the vase down about 12". its making the room look short.

i live in a small studio and use a full size bed as a "sofa" it seems to work with a few layers of pillows.

pixiedust, i found it on a previous AT post under tables that double as a desk and found its from DWR.

i am feeling a bit stressed this week. I am frustrated that i am not keeping to the schedule, but fortunately, i was so excited in the begining of the that i starting working on the bathroom in week 2. i also, had to have surgery on my hand so that is delaying progress. i have realized that painting my entire apartment is probably not going to happen during this cure, so i am readjusting my plan to get everything in order. it will make painting easier when there is less stuff. this is a little disappointing, but im trying to stay positive about all of the things that i have improved.

bathroom revamp including paint, towels, storage solutions, removing one ugly plastic storage unit, and new rug.

i find it interesting that the person who gave the tips recommends to use "bar shampoo" and "bar massage oil" happens to be the founder of LUSH (um yep, thats what they sell)

not that i dont like their products or think that he is probably right since there would be less packaging. but, couldnt we get someone with an un bias opinion?

The kitchen overhall this week went well. i discovered that my cabinets are really a little less yellow than i thought! nasty! oh, and that refrigerators are easy to move so i cant use that excuse any more!

my outbox was getting so big (for my small studio) that i moved it to the basement. it wont be as easy to move things in and out but so far so good with the separation anxeity!
