I am one of those who registered with Apartment Therapy in order to vote for our friends' blog. I was unaware our friends were blogger's until a mutual friend mentioned the contest to me. I have since discovered a whole new world I previously knew nothing about and have so enjoyed exploring it over the past day or so. As a result of this contest, I will now be following our friends' blog as well as a few others. Anyone who understands smart business understands the importance of "NETWORKING" and this contest has done just that. That's what Apartment Therapy is...A NETWORKING SITE!!! Would Apartment Therapy have preferred I NOT register in order to vote for my friends' blog? Absolutely not! Apartment Therapy now has a new subscriber as a result of my desire to vote! That's smart business. Also, as I look at how MANY blogs were nominated, I am amazed how anyone could conceive someone being able to open enough e-mail accounts in order to be one of the top contenders. It's asinine! If this were the case ANY ONE OF THEM could be making enough e-mail accounts at this moment to move ahead of Young House Love and that is obviously NOT happening. "The proof is in the puddin'" as they say. Each of the final nine are impressive and informative blogs and each represent themselves quite well...and jealousy will eat you alive if you let it.
