I usually just slide the knife in down the side of the jar to make a pocket for the oil, then tilt the jar to let the oil pour into it. Do this a few more times around the sides, and then stir-- it's easier to stir and keeps the oil from slopping out. Tip from Orangette: An Easy Way to Stir Peanut Butter |

My house is a traditional colonial, which I think reflects my love of tradition. My decor and my clothing both seemed to take on bold color around the same time; we were both pretty drab before that.
