I think it's very easy to miss the point of the reason for having guests over to enjoy a meal. I am sure the company and the food is the whole point. I don't like stressing over things like that. I am sure nobody minds being served on disposable...let's not forget about the whole purpose of the gathering....to share, to enjoy, to catch up and make contact. Anyone that would care about matching china as opposed to using disposable probably would not be at my house. Ambiance, fresh flowers, chilled wine.....and the people you want to share your time with are more important. Just sayin! Is it Bad Hosting to use Paper Plates and Fake Silverware? |

I could not function with that few book shelves. One smallish wall, floor to ceiling is more generous. I re read books I love and would never get rid of them. I do pass on books that I am luke warm on and try to give them away instead of storing them in valuable space. I also borrow from the library if I don't want to purchase the book. I wouldn't give away books for lack of space, I would just add another shelf! Books are such a luxury! just sayin'! Day 13: Declutter Books or Media The 20/20 Home Cure |
