I have had concrete in kitchen and master bath for 3 years. Both are beautiful. We have not done the recommended maintenance, but we like the "imperfect" look, so it is not a problem. The seal has pealed in the bathroom and "dinged" in the kitchen. I cannot, however, contact the manufacturer regarding how to re-seal because he was so awful to work with, was actually so belligerent to me, that my contractor actually had to step in, explain to him how things were going to be if we ended up suing and counter-suing each other as threatened, and made a deal that I would not be in my own house the day the counters were installed (I was that mad). In fact, he was so awful, that the second part of the job (the bathtub surround) was actually contracted out to a different manufacturer. Also, because of his horrible manner, I was unable to communicate with him on the measurements and I was dissatisfied with one aspect of the size of the countertop, but he was so difficult to work with, I was cowed into accepting the original design. He was that bad. So, Gerry, this one's for you. I promised that someday, some way, I would get the word out about you. Good product, terrible person. There are many other great concrete countertop manufacturers in the sea. Use one of them. Can You Give an Honest Opinion on Concrete Countertops? Good Questions |
