seriously...so much patience and thought and wow... also, to EVERYONE with the issue with the skulls or shade of paint -- it was they're project and obviously if they shared it they love it -- this is just something to see SO that if you really like the IDEA of it you can replicate with ANYTHING you'd like....let's say without skulls in any color. the idea is fantastic! I LOVE this ikea curtain pattern, too! just also trying to find the right project for it :) your chairs turned out great!!! I don't know if this is the direction you'd like to go in with the table BUT I just took a round oak pedestal table, white washed it and put a carrera (white with gray veining) marble top on it -- it would probably be easier to get one for a rectangle... the trick is to find a marble place that is willing to sell you a piece of "scrap" marble and cut it to the desired size -- it is fairly inexpensive for something that will last a lifetime. just a suggestion. hi everyone!! thanks for taking a look -- so.... yes. it is purple -- but actually looks blackish purple but the way the sun was coming through that morning makes it really purple. the hardware is from ikea it is called "RATIONALE" BUT it is NOT available or even pictured on the website. boo. the very thin shelf is for bar towels and either a killer wooden bar tool set or one of those nifty wine openers that can open wine in one fluid motion -- haven't decided yet. just a quick FYI: there is room on the top for a tray and shaker and tools and to mix drinks --- i didn't picture it because i just moved in and don't have one yet! i only managed to have the booze on hand. ** Also, you can change out the paper whenever you'd like!! I bought the paper on sale for 3.00 a roll and picked out 2 more patterns that will work well -- OR you can get really great wallpaper -- which was my initial idea but would have taken too long to order and receive.
