a tree planted in front of the house to the right of the window would be a nice addition to your yard and would help 'hide' the part of the roof line that you don't like.

Daiya cheese shreds are great and they just came out with a new cheese 'block' version. Many of our local restaurants are starting to use it as well ... so nice to be able to order a vegan pizza now!

Cows produce milk for the same reason that humans do: to nourish their young. In order to force the animals to continue giving milk, factory farm operators typically impregnate them using artificial insemination every year. Calves are generally taken from their mothers within a day of being born—males are destined for veal crates or barren lots where they will be fattened for beef, and females are sentenced to the same fate as their mothers.

The good news is that removing dairy products from your diet is easier than ever. Today there is a multitude of nondairy "dairy" products on the market, such as soy, rice, coconut and almond milk.

i share a dining space and work space as well. I found a really cute vintage suitcase that holds all of my work stuff. (it even has a pocket on the inside that holds files neatly) at the end of the day i simply close the suitcase.

i agree with Kaycee on painting cabinets and new hardware. They even make a peel and stick tile that you can grout between so it really does look like real tile. And they say large tile makes a small space actually feel roomier so i would be tempted to go for one of the larger rectangle shaped tiles. If you need to store stuff on top of fridge maybe get some nice baskets or antique wood crates to hide the contents. (and take all of those magnets etc. off the fridge. It makes it look cluttered/messy) Your back splash area is so small you could probably do a nice glass tile there yourself for next to nothing. I would also put a nice mirror on that back wall to give the illusion of more space. Maybe a new trashcan if it has to stay out and some cute ceramic cat/dog food bowls.

i put a small light on a timer to turn on 30 minutes before I need to wake up. That way when my alarm goes off it isn't pitch black in my room and makes getting out of bed MUCH easier. I also put one on my living room lamp so when i walk out to make my tea I am also greeted by some light instead of darkness.

I love the idea of charitable giving but a few of these suggestions should not be on that list.

Animal-donation programs like those run by Heifer International and Oxfam do not provide a sustainable solution for global hunger. Grazing animals often cause topsoil runoff and land degradation, which can contribute to drought, leading the environmental group World Land Trust to call these programs "environmentally unsound and economically disastrous."

In addition, German producer Wilfried Huismann's film, Silence of the Pandas, exposes what he dubs "the dark side" of the WWF. This organization has become so large, says Huismann, by partnering with wealthy corporations that plaster its famous logo on their products as an endorsement in exchange for sizeable donations. Even while WWF purports to protect the environment, it promotes companies that are destroying it.

Some programs I would recommend instead are The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation, Food for Life Global, VEGFAM, Animal Rahat and Feed My Starving Children.

i would leave the tile and instead spend my money on new paint and light fixtures. If you dont need the storage i would ditch the medicine cabinet and find a really nice mirror to go over the sink instead. A nice warm tan would work well with the pink tile (i think the tile is pink hard to tell from picture). And add a shower curtain with a print to take the focus.
