I'd go for the bed with tons of storage. Get some large sofa cushions for the backing against the wall and have an upholstery grade cover made for the mattress so you can convert it to a sofa when guests are around.

I repainted my wardrobe. When I saw how much they were charging for peacock feather decals I knew I had to put measures into my own hands. The cutting was so labour intensive. I think each feather took about half an hour to cut out.

I like number one. But I have about three of the Rakku Wheels and they are awesome. Every time I have friends over (especially the females) they go gaga over them. It's like a hamster wheel for shoes. I have over 100 pairs (did I just admit that?) and they all fit in nice and neet. I also have shelves for my boots.

I know a lot of people don't like using open space shelves but sometimes there just isn't enough room for it all. I found ikea was just a terrific resource and used the asker and bigel systems for my spices and my utensils. Since I used the utensils all the time, they don't collect dust. The little island holds mixing bowls, some commonly used spices and oils, cutting boards, toaster, foreman grill, pot lids and other stuffs that don't fit in those cupboards. I wish i had a better place for the microwave - but oh well:

I love it! I think I'd like to do that to my bathroom - to mimic the shower curtain but there isn't much wall space and it might be square overkill. Maybe a dove grey with clear paint accents? Suggestions?

Less packaged and processed foods. Goal is to take out the recyclables only once every other month. Getting there - no more canned goods and trying to buy only seasonal foods. Make my own snacks (baked chips) and buy bulk. Documented my goals so now I'm accountable:

I made a couple of upside down planters by sawing out a hole from the bottom of paint cans. They're a bit too small for tomato planters, as I have realized but they sure do work!

I really like the Boskke ones and have been thinking about buying them for my succulents.

I think I might have seen this on poppytalk. It's fantastic. When my bf FINALLY gets a place of his own I want to put a large octopus coming out from the corner of the wall.

Also, I like the Missoni pattern when it's in a larger scale. I feel it highlights the choice of colours. When the pattern is small and fine the graphic nature of the design is lost.

I've always wanted a piece from Missoni. I wish that Target shipped to Canada. 2013 for Target's arrival to the North is just too far away.

Here are some of my favs - I really want the throw and the bicycle:

Painted doors rock. I was going to paint mine yellow - but I think it would have been overwhelming, since it's a very small entrance way. So I put up "faux" molding by spray painting some picture frames yellow.

The picture with the yellow doors was part of my inspiration.
