Love with exception to the cheap looking framed sign and the grassy thing on the back of the toliet. They don't fit.

I AGREE! I was born & raised in SF and though I haven't lived there since the 90's (grew up in Pacific Heights) I still visit as often as I can- it truly is my heart! Last visit, in May, we chose to stay in the heart of the Filmore and WOW! Our location MADE our trip! Tons of restaurants and coffee shops (The Grove was a fav), thrift stores and high end stores like Marc Jacobs. Gorgeous churches, beautiful park- all right outside our door (used AirBnb to rent an apt. for the wk). We could even walk (20-30 minutes) to Fisherman's Wharf and of course public transit was on every corner but the location made a trip by bus to any part of the city 15 min. Only place I'll stay when I'm in town going forward.

My husband is Charles (III) aka "Charlie" & if we have a boy, he will be as well.

But a girl, I love the names Emma, Emily or Sarah (my early childhood best friend) and any with the middle name or quite possibly first name of Drew- for my nephew Andrew who passed last year.

I am Denise, rarely meet another. My son (16) is Anthony.

I <3 it! Then again we also have snowboards on the wall and guitars. Then again we actively use ever single thing :)

I say, hang an interesting light fixture from above (off center near corner) and a collage in either sleek modern mix matched frames (use larger & dark ones to balance) or, a mix of very ornate over sized frames with an array of art, photos, maybe throw an object in that can be hung among the collage. I would personally go for wooden blinds and modern/mid. cent. with your furniture. Another idea, go HUGE with one colorful oversized photo or painting.

What Should I Hang Above My Bed?

I imagine your huband smells like a dirty cat box whenever it's chilly enough for a jacket. I also don't understand the soft boxes, seem like something that wouldn't hold up well and end up looking sloppy.

I think the before would have been interesting with a pale blue wall, some rust red somewhere, a mid century cabinet of some kind with a modern sink installed, interesting fixtures and maybe a huge ornate mirrow above sink all with old tile. Metal is cook, seems like a lot in one little spot though..

Yes, here's how: use the spray foam used to winterize windows in the panels, then buy inexpensive eggcrate mattress topper, attach (smooth side out) with a layer of batting (you staple on around edges to back). Then cover with fabric. To make it a little more fem., have holes drilled to pull through fabric covered buttons to create tufted look. I do not rec., light colored/plain fabric with the beds head/foot board size, pattern/texture/color are your friends in this case!
