I don't post a lot of comments, especially on house tours. But I've got to say you did a really great job and I like your style. Keep up the good work girl !

I used to have the exact same issue in my bed. Even though my sheets weren't high quality, the slippery material of my mattress made it hard for my sheets to stay in place. I sleep by myself, and I would wake up in the middle of the night lying directly on the mattress and my sheets gathered at the foot of the bed...

Here's what resolved the problem for me : Using a flannel sheet as a mattress cover. I just cover my mattress with the flannel sheet, nicely tucked on each side of the mattress, then I make my bed as usual. The texture of the flannel creates a barrier between the slippery fabric of the mattress and the sheets. It should do the same for you. Well, I hope it does !

I use the Sims 3 as a design tool as well. Clients love it because they really can see how their room will look like from different angles.

Sherry and John had a great tutorial on their blog Young House Love, which I just LOVE. A very clever and beautiful idea with pictures so you can see the results.

I can't believe that half of the comments concern milk in bags instead of the project itself ! Haha ! And I'm from Québec, and milk comes either in cartons, plastic jugs or bags... But personally, I find that the milk in bags taste like plastic, but it takes less space in the recycling box ;-)

I think it's great, but a vanity without a mirror seems odd to me, doesn't it ?

Unfortunately, I don't think I like this idea... It sure looks great, but it is not logic for me. I wouldn't want to obstruct the day light, so I would need to do this in a large window. But for privacy purposes, it doesn't do anything for you if you only obstruct a small area of the window... And personally, I like to watch outside when I have a window over my sink ;-)
