i purchased an exact bentwood stool last summer at a Connecticut flea market for $40.....You might want to Google Thonet and find out where you can purchase reproductions. Most large flea markets always have a bentwood chair in various styles - and you might get lucky and score yourself a stool. try IKEA. we had the same problem; space issue and cat issue! IKEA delivers as well as being home to many sizes. leather was the only option we had regarding our cat's claws. we went to jennifer convertibles first and purchased a beige sofa bed and within six months the sofa was a shredded mess. cat's don't seem to scratch leather too much, and the aged patina of leather just makes it look even better. for under $1000, you're set. A gorgeous lamp deserves a loving home. My wife, cat, and I moved all the way from Sydney, Australia (with our cat) to NYC and have decided to start from scratch with furniture and belongings.....What a treat it would be to have this lovely lamp in our home office.....A sun lamp for our sun-starved cat, and a stylish lamp to boot!
