Great renovation / kitchen refresh.

Please don't let the negative web comments here phase you about playing it safe, needs more color, lacks pizzaz, it is impersonal, it is not this, it is not that, etc bla bla. It is your house, your kitchen, your budget, your idea, your elbow grease. You did the work, not them. I doubt all the arm chair commenters have tackled the renovation you did with such a great outcome ... let alone a renovation that goes beyond what you did.

Ever notice that trend in the DIY / Renovations shows, that you have to have bright colors; only to see the next show where the designers tone it down and make it more neutral. That's my next project. A big house with lots of colors that don't go with anything and make you think somebody's been watching too many DIY tv shows.

Not bad for a small writing or reading nook but too small for most home offices. Even my study space as a kid was bigger and I needed more storage than these provide.

I think the first one would look better without that big closet framing & drywall box around it.

You have two sentences merged in one, or part of one missing:

"so she was stuck with the 2 GB of data for 250 MB"

---

Yes, it can be done to use less than 250MB of data on the road, but you pretty much have to turn mobile data off 24/7/365 and use it as sparingly as possible, strictly as needed. Then go to wifi hotspots to get your news, email, ... Do app updates on your home network. Etc.

Most people don't realize that most popular websites (in regular view) weigh in at 1MB or more per page view (unplggd ~= 1MB), so you really don't have to do much online to hit 250MB.

Interesting idea, except for the problem that it is a serious liability & building code violation and poor placement. Though I guess with a camera placed so low, you'll know which brand sneakers the thief/suspect is wearing.
