This is a nice piece, but not for something in the 5 grand range, and it really does not say "forever" to me. I think something rectangular and expandable would be better in the long term.

I use mine as extra storage for things I don't mind having on display and I don't use every day. I have some beautiful pots, pottery (bowls, pitchers, etc.), large wooden bowls and serving bowls. It functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Btw who uses mirrors as back splashes?! What a horrible idea!

I like the colour you have now. I wouldn't change it; it's perfectly light and airy for the space. I also like what you've done with the white around the top.

I second the idea of a collection of old mirrors. I think that would be a nice addition.

I have to agree, I liked the blue better. I find the new "pink" colour looks dated.
