I've had granite counters for 7 years and never had to reseal them. There's no maintenance to then other than a wipe-down when ever I do dishes. I've put insanely hot pots on it, spilled red wine on them, left lemon slices on them, and nothing ever happens to them. I love them, and think they are classic. I have real granite counters not the composite granite. I do try not to bang anything on them for fear of chipping the counter or the item. All About: Granite Countertops Countertop Spotlight |

Atn654 - I was just using examples. Chillax. Obviously the article doesn't mention them but I gave them out as somewhat common examples and that's what the title reminded me of. Look! Taco–Shaped Steamed Buns |

Jenn_y said it better than me, thanks. That's what I meant. Sorry, I was typing on the fly. I meant to say the "taco-shaped steamed buns" are bao. I hope that helps people who are looking for them. Look! Taco–Shaped Steamed Buns |

These are called bao. This stuff drives me nuts, especially for food writing on a food blog. Use the proper terminology. Do your research. Dim sum is not "Chinese tapas." Jiao zi/Dumplings are not "Chinese ravioli." This might just be my pet peeve... Look! Taco–Shaped Steamed Buns |

Like what everyone said: it's cute to look at, but not every functional. The text for my country, the US, is so HUGE (at least in the picture) eeeek. My other country, UAE, is left out. Vanilla Ice is the winkle twinkle! He's still performing. We saw him rapping/singing in Dubai, and he alluded to his home-fixing proclivities. He also said he was developing a car condo so people can live with their flash cars. Check him out in Dubai in April: "Stop, Renovate, and Listen": Vanilla Ice Hosts Home Show Young House Love |

This look is great. Disco balls, crystal, and mirrors can do wonders for energies and are often used in feng shui. The Kitchn readers probably know this anyway -- kitchens are the center of well being in a home! Look! Disco Ball in the Kitchen | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

Does anyone have a 2 bedroom, 1 bath house under 800 ft? I do and I'd love to share ideas. I think grouping similar layouts with square footage would help a lot. 800 ft for a 1 bedroom is different than the same square footage in a studio, or my little 2-story, 2 bed, soon to be 1.5 bath rowhouse (720 ft2 or 65 km2). whatever shade you use, it has to be super light. We wanted to buy the Regolit but also hated the shade. At the store, we tested the floor sample and tried using various shades from ikea (we really liked the Foto and Leran pendants). They all made the light sag down until it came to the floor! We used the larger size, o that might have been the problem but a really small shade will throw the proportions off. The arc is either a really light metal or plastic -- really wimpy. Maybe a light plastic or a smaller paper shade will work or use a pendant light's shade, like: Apartment Therapy Boston | Good Questions: Better Shade for Ikea Regolit Lamp? |
