@cfauke: You're supposed to put silicone baking pans (like cake pans, for example) on a metal cookie sheet before moving them into the oven.

My friend and I made Alton Brown's pretzel recipe several times this summer. Great recipe.

I think this is a fabulous idea. However, there are a few flaws. It only helps with pictures; when people actually go inside the home it will still be empty and they will have less sense of space. (It's one thing to see picture of a staged room and it's another to walk around in one.)

Also, I think listings using this technology should state as much. I wouldn't be offended if I saw in the listing that it was staged digitally.

BUT I think this is a really good idea.

Maybe having the ends not perfectly aligned would be more realistic.

I think it's extremely extravagant and unnecessary. Really: how far is it from your sink to your stove? Pot too tall for your sink? Sit the pot on the counter next to the sink and use the spray attachment. Don't have a spray attachment? Fill a smaller bowl and use it to fill the big one.

I think the best thing would be to make her a beautiful meal and enjoy eachother's company. She won't miss her blender when she's gone but she will miss you. Make some (yummy!) memories while she's still here.

Corelle has a guarantee with all of their dishes that they will replace any dish that is broken, cracked, or chipped within three years of purchase. Just be sure to bring in the broken dish so they can see that it was a Corelle brand plate and they will replace it at no cost to you.

The important thing is to bring in the dish. You wouldn't believe how many times people come in and say they broke a dish but without proof we can't replace it for them.

Lock and lock are the best! They never ever leak.

I would forgo Glasslock because although the bottom is glass, the top is still plastic. Obviously, the glass is heavier and a lot more prone to breaking.

I don't see why these eggs are any more wasteful than regular eggs. They both take up shelf space. They both have to be kept refrigerated. They both have to be transported from wherever to the grocery store. Perhaps the argument can be made that these eggs are actually more environmentally-friendly because instead of you boiling one pot of water for a batch of hard-boiled eggs, the factory boils enormous pots of water. And you can't tell me that this plastic bag is extremely more wasteful than egg cartons.

I actually sit down when I shave my legs in the shower. I angle the showerhead away from me so it doesn't rinse the shaving cream off.
