Hello everyone!
Thank you so much for the kind words about our home...thanks for taking the tour! :)

Renee...actually, everything stays put rather well...even all of those photos on the ledge and the food jars in the kitchen. We really don't have to put too many things away as we drive.

Regarding the comments about sponsors and how we make money...this tour is something we came up with on our own, we aren't financially linked to any other companies/people. The sponsors on the side of the bus are green companies (most of them are small and home-based) that provide products or services for us while we are on the road. For example, we have an herbalist who consults with us if we get sick...a soap maker who keeps us smelling nice, a company that provided t-shirts, a friend who donated his crazy web skills, a lip balm company who keeps our lips nice and soft, and a company who sent a big box of raw food goodies...etc. All of these companies are wonderful, eco-friendly companies that we wanted to give exposure to as we traveled. Day to day travels and expenses are totally out of our own pocket.

To make money, we are working just like anyone else. I do photography, graphic design, and raw food coaching...and Matt does construction work where it's available. We also get paid a small fee for some of the demos we do. We aren't living in luxury at all :) Our total monthly budget is less than our mortgage payment when we owned a house...sometimes we have a little extra, sometimes we wonder where the money will come from to pay the bills, but God has always come through and provides for us so wonderfully. It's a journey of faith as well...I would recommend it to everyone...every day is a glorious adventure!

Microwaveless here too...and love it. We just reheat everything on the stove. It really depends on the type of food you eat though. Things like soup and curries are much easier to reheat successfully than hard leftover pizza :) I like the bamboo steamer idea...

MamaChilanga...thanks for asking :) We have a 3 year old daughter who co-sleeps in our bed with us (and always has). She has a play area (as you can see in the photos...a wooden kitchen, craft table, and the toy box which doubles as a coffee table). We also have a nice yard and many parks just a few blocks away.

Hi all...thanks for the comments! We have been traveling for the last 2 weeks and won't be back for another 4 weeks...so I apologize for the missing video! We're 18 hours away from our apartment right now, so I couldn't get back in time when I was notified that we were in the semi-finals.

Wow...I love it. I have had a hard time feeling like I could live in any of the other entries, and yours is just amazing. I love everything. I loved your bedroom when I saw it the first time...I love the glowing effect in the bedroom. I'm a big fan of hanging lights. The dark wall is so dramatic. Fabulous. I love the chandelier in the kitchen too...so great. I'm gushing now...what I'm trying to say is...great job!

The screen is exactly what my husband is planning for our space. It's fun to see it in practice :) Beautiful, cozy bed. I have the same fabric on some throw pillows. Toile is so great! Beautiful space...well done.

bluetoes...I WISH the floor would shine :) It's been through one to many tenents! There will be no removing rugs...because we'd get complaints daily from our lady downstairs. Bella loves to jump, spin, and *stomp stomp stomp!* Also, we have cold winters and there is only that one heating unit in the entire apt. Our toes would freeze off without the rugs. hee hee. Rugs = Warm.

Hello everyone...thanks so much for checking out our apt! Here are some answers to your questions:

"i think your 'livingroom' would look a lot bigger without those rugs on the floor, they seem to hide the lines of that beautifulhardwood floor underneath."
The hardwood floors are in need of repair, which is one of the reasons why we chose a large rug. :) It's a rental in a very, very old building that hasn't been taken care of very well. We thought about refinishing them, but decided against using our own money on something we don't own. Also, we are in an upstairs unit...and with a 3 year old who LOVES her tippity tap shoes, we had to keep as much of the floor covered as possible! :) We LOVE the rug and the warmth it brings to the space.

"...plus the guy on the fridge looks cute."
That's my brother. He's single ;-)

"Living so small must be pretty unusual in Bozeman, MT."
Actually...living small is pretty common. It's a college town, and also a town that has insane housing prices. There are large homes as well...as with any community.

"Ppsssst. Maybe take your last name off the floorplan?"
Yes, it would have been nice if they wouldn't have put the entire file on there...but oh well.

"What are those blue and white circles on the green wall we can see through the doorway in the first pic?"
That is my enamelware lid collection.

"i especially love the framed floral piece on the wall--can you give some information on it please?"
It is a Kim Parker print.

"is there space for the whole family to hang out in the living room?"
Absolutely! :) Yes...there is a couch around the corner. I hope that I make it to the finals so I can show you all more photos from different angles. 3 photos was hard to narrow down. We also sit on top of the heater and on top of our toy chest. We've actually had 10 people in there at once!

Thanks again for looking...
