Know this was going to happen the moment I saw the location of the apartment. Wherever it is, however, it is breathtaking.

Bit too creepy for me. Can you imagine passing by that in the dark? But then I'm not a huge fan of taxidermy in general.

I use that space to store my eleven year-old wizard.-Sprklberie
I couldn't help thinking of the little cupboard under the stairs at the Dursley's too!
I really like #1, but I wouldn't really ever want to walk on that. It does have a railing on one side, but I don't know if I'd feel comfortable with the other side so open...I've seen it in several places before from different angles, and I still don't know about safety. It does seem to have something on the treads to prevent slipping though. I kind of like #3 too.

I love the Trina Turk pillows, but I could never come up with a good enough excuse for spending $125-$150 on a pillow.

It's gorgeous, but looks very easy to hack. A lot of craft stores have unfinished crates similar to this which could be painted, screwed together and stacked, and for a lot less than forty dollars a box.

Caesar never officially was ever emperor, was he? And his death wasn't the first steps to the fall of the Roman Empire. The Roman Empire began with Caesar, after he effectively (and rather flamboyantly, angering the senate) turned it back into a monarchy after it had become a republic. This of course was completely ensured by Augustus Caesar, the first emperor of Rome. Sorry for being so pedanting, I'm just a big Julius Caesar buff.

I would put a small, but comfortable chair, artwork (You can probably make your own for pretty cheap, or cut images you like out of a magazine), and a small wall-hung bookshelf, as a sort of compact reading nook.
