goo gone is a great product for this sort of thing - but you should definitely try it somewhere else on the tub first to make sure it doesn't strip anything you want off with it...

A head's up: if you're looking for cold-season produce, the Green City Market doesn't close at the end of October, it just moves from its summer location at the south end of Lincoln Park to The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum (2430 N. Cannon Drive). You can probably expect greenhouse and hoophouse grown lettuce mix, arugula, spinach, etc.

And - I've heard the globe amaranth also called "gomphrena."

It's not particularly preachy, although very informative. It's excellent, though. Well researched and extremely easy to read.

I really want to get bentos for my boyfriend and I, but I'd like to get ones locally if possible. Does anyone have a favorite store in Chicago, maybe in China or Koreatown, where I might purchase some?

My favorite Method memory is from earlier this year. I sublet a room from the sweetest, nicest girl, who also had a bad case of cleaning OCD. She wasn't there the day I moved in, but she left me a note in dry erase marker on the bathroom mirror: "If you take a shower, please spray the shower walls with the Method shower cleaner, then squeegee."

Wegot along just fine.

awesome. I've always gotten my local Chicago honey from Growing Home, which ALSo employs previously-homeless people. I know they're at the green market, too.

Maybe it's the many really bright colors? It seems awfully busy to me from an outside perspective, but as a color-lover, I can see that this might be just perfect for you!

I second this idea! With such high ceilings, you'd be really maximizing the space. Just make sure whoever does it builds some lovely steps to make it easy to get to!

This space is charming and feels warm and inviting. I'd come over for a dinner party any time.

While the first photo made me almost salivate, I somehow can't get behind the rest of the pictures. While there's not that much "stuff" in the room, everything looks cluttered - lots of small pieces everywhere.

It's lovely, and well laid-out, with lots of nice pieces, but it somehow doesn't look livable. Where do you sit when you have a headache and are pissed off?

It's lovely, and it also looks entirely livable. Hoorah!

It's really an interesting layout. But I'd be worried about spilling something on the pristine whiteness.
