The stripes look fantastic and I love all the neutral colors...seems to keep the space looking so light and sunny!

You can't be serious. You feel special for joining a world of overpriced jeans? You think it's nifty to pay a lot for clothes you can't wash? Then of course, you never actually show us how to do this thing that most of us with sense (and washable clothing) wouldn't do.

To keep a shred of respect for this site, I'm going to believe this was a PSA to anyone considering becoming a ridiculous clothing snob.

From the sounds of it, we shouldn't be creative with furniture that's worth anything - save it for the stuff at IKEA that'll fall apart (along with your efforts) in a move or two!

The final piece is creative - with a different pattern I'd love to have it! The original looks just like something I'd find/buy and redo. Why would I waste my time on IKEA junk?

I'm going to echo the "what makes it glam?" statement - there's nothing "glam" about this. Or "cozy". This space is just cold and cluttered to my eyes.

I've been addicted to Pinterest for weeks! Totally fits the way I need to organize my digital inspiration. Doing that with the physical bits...a whole different challenge. I've been using simple pieces of colored paper to mat things like postcards/clippings before hanging them. Brought a little order to what was otherwise pretty random.

I just moved into a new loft and Mom made my dog, Ella her own quilt to lay on to protect my comforter. One side is a colorful mix of fabrics, but the other side is entirely made of old khakis! I love it, it matches my dogs fur ;) and it's such a durable fabric for a dog's quilt.

I hung large framed print behind my stove in my last apartment - I loved it! I did get quite a few "do you think that's a good idea?" comments, but I think as long as it's not a priceless work of art...it's a-okay. Now I've got a big fan and box above it - I'm working on illustrations to place into the "frame".

Yeah - that would be wonderful to track indoors. I'm sure homes and businesses everywhere would applaud you. I agree, absolutely awful idea.

I just moved into a studio/loft - AT has been such an inspiration! I decided to put the bed under one of the HUGE windows and I love it - I can look up at the stars/moon at night and I wake up with tons of sunshine.
