The only bad thing about these stairs is Pantone recommends replacing them every once every year or so. The ink on the stairs are subject to fading over time and will cease to be a useful and accurate reference. ;)

I agree with karnooshka99, I was in the same area (on haight/octavia) when I was working in SF and it was just about the nicest place to be. So close to everything, felt pretty safe and friendly.

WARNING: We bought one of these when painting my office along with two of the shurline twist and reach roller frames and the tray was too narrow to accommodate the twist and reach rollers. The actual roller fit into the tray, but the 'axle' (or whatever it may be called that connects the roller to the handle) would impede getting the roller fully immersed in the paint.

It was a total pain in the ass and resulted in a second trip to the paint store. Afterwards, we tried to remove the paint skin like in the photo and it was far from easy.

I could see one company's product not working with another, but it's just terrible planning when something like this happens. lame...

This is rad. I wish there was a similar thing for neatly pairing a macbookpro and a display.

As-Is Edmonton is also awesome, but you have to make regular trips to catch the good stuff. Like Suewanda, the majority of our Ikea stuff is As-Is. It's like an adventure and can really spark your imagination for hacking busted items into something new.

The real trick is sometimes you can get the floor staff to mark something down a bit more with a bit of fancy talking.
