It's an adorable room. You have a good command of color. Not many people do. FYI - I had not heard of the safety concerns around bumpers as far as them being used as stepping stools (good to know). I know there is some concern about infants rolling into them and having their face against it. Apparently many think SIDS is caused when infants rebreath the CO2 they release by having their face too close to something like a blanket or bumper. Not suffocation in the way we think of it. An adult can have their face in a pillow with virtually no risk, but a baby can't. You may choose to look into that more. I think your son's age is a big factor, and I don't know his age. Either way I just wish I could sew a crib bumper if I wanted too!!
