One more vote for your manliness. That is, always great to see a masculine view of home-making. In the best sense of the word. Granted, we see plenty of men with enviable style in AT house tours, but we don't see as many that aren't inspired by life-sized paintings of hairless pectorals or accents of ribbon and hollywood regency reflective surfaces. There, I said it! Bradley, I don't care who you sleep with, but thanks for striking a balance of styles on AT.

I don't give a (poop) about the dog. I have never before read the entire Resources of Note list for a house tour. I did for yours. In a way, it's nice to see I can't go out and buy much on it. Great collection of stuff. So much more beautiful than a room off of a catalog page.

Lovely. I've been thinking of doing the same kind of wood paneled wall. What kind of wood did you use and is it treated? Can you wipe it off easily? I was thinking of using scrap cabinet pieces since they would be treated in a kitchen-friendly way.

I hope you take the "not my style" comments as a compliment. Must mean you're truly expressing yourself. Personally, I'm wiping the drool off my laptop. Sublime stuff. As for the palette, I dig it and bonus of the monochromatic tones is they are a great backdrop for people. Your guests must look great in your place. Way to go Ohio.

I appreciate the "hamster on the wheel" comments. When I can't turn off my brain I've found writing down the things I am thinking about is a great exercise. And a practical one. Use the list the next day to take care of business. I keep pen and paper by my bed. I guess your mind settles knowing there is some stuff you have control over and some you don't. Anecdotally, I know this works for lots of folks.

Also, a bit of yoga or stretching before bed gets the kinks out. And done in bed before you get up or by your bedside provides a boost of energy and good outlook in the morning. This is what I come to Apartment Therapy for and I wish it got back to basics more often. I don't need to see what rich people can do with all the space in the world. Not fun. Seeing what Lauren can do with 400 square feet, now that's fun!
