This is something you can do yourself (even on a mac) using photoshop or Gimp by first posterising your image and then using an edge detection plugin... If you want to produce something larger (from 16" x 16") on canvas then I can help at PortraitsByNumbers.co.uk by putting together a custom painting by numbers kit from your photo! Is painting by numbers art? It's like power assisted steering, it enables you to do something that you wouldn't otherwise be able to. I think that's especially relevant when you are talking about personalised painting by numbers art where you are still producing something very unique. I produce something similar, mainly of people instead of pets, and a bit more stylised from my site at: PortraitsByNumbers.co.uk. My kits start at 16" x 16" and are stretched canvas which is harder to produce as a one off yourself.
