This is one of my favourite reno stories ever! I love the way you've stayed true to the architecture but didn't cutesy it. Clean, modern, classic. Keeping the pocket door (or perhaps putting one in!) between the living room and dining area was genius. A lovely home! Hannah & Brandon's \"Ever Evolving\" Classically Modern Reno House Tour |

This is my favourite house tour yet. Magnificent! I would like one more stretch out comfy chair in the living area but that's me. My goodness - it has a lovely atmosphere, I can certainly see why creativity lives there. Elizabeth's Urban Artist Retreat House Tour |

As a knitter and a 50 yr old wish I had been older in the 60s woman, I love each and every selection in these photos! Years ago in the movie When a Man Loves a Woman, the kitchen of the main characters featured a long farm table with good sturdy high back chairs each painted a primary colour. I've remembered that detail for years. Pleased to see something similar here! On Trend in Europe: The Handcrafted Hippie Home Look |

Its lucky that I live on the west coast because if I lived anywhere near them, I'd be asking to sleep over in that fabulous guest loft sleeping space. The whole apartment is wonderful! Unique, homey and yet funky and spacious. What more could a person want?! Ben & Aja's Boiler Room Loft House Tour |

Although I always thought I would have said, make sure you put a tub in, I'm surprised to say to you - do what makes you happy! I am 50 always have showers and as long as it had a built in bench, like JulieJZZ above suggests, I would be happy happy. Baths are nice but with my arthritic knee if I got in, I would never get out! Your apartment is cosy and made perfect with all of the items that give an indication of you are. Love that it is not all sweet, bit of an edge...wonderful combination! I would want another comfortable chair in the living room area, but that is me and I'm 50. The only thing I didn't like for me personally? For me, dressers must have knobs. No pulls, no grip underneath. I need knobs! Thank you for sharing your lovely home!! Nicole's Ever-Changing Edgewater Apartment House Tour |

I agree with both the comment about coffee - it will work - and the comment about the air purifier. I think one of those air purifiers is a great thing to have no matter what. Help! Our Past Tenants Smelled Too Good |

the flannel sheet cure is a great one. I could never lift the mattress enough to get those suspenders on ( though they seem like a smart idea). tucking in a flannel sheet? That I can do. Thanks for the tip! How To Prevent Sheets From Slipping Off The Bed? Good Questions |

Okay, THAT is it! I am definitely DEFINITELY getting a disco ball for my kitchen! I loved the unique character of the whole space but I fell in love when I saw the mirrored disco ball hanging beside the cooking pans. Wonderful and inspiring! The Boys of Bushwick House Tour |

I used to flip and rotate my mattress every 2 months (!) but now that I have arthritis there is no way I can grab, pull and push it. I unfortunately really do notice the difference. There is a pronounced divet in the mattress where I sleep. Alone alas! Survey: Do You Flip Your Mattress? |
