I love to see AT get back to the realistic, hands-on, on-a-budget projects like these. Anyone with a fat budget and designers/architects can make an amazing renno. Hats off to these guys that did a STUNNING job on their own project. Lovely work!

Love the natural wood slab!!! I must say, the Repurposed Pallet Headboard looks like it would be a nightmare for splinters and scuffing off onto your nice white sheets. There is no good way to sand/seal wood like that without ruining the aesthetic quality.

I feel like changing out a door and adding on an ironing board doesn't really qualify as turning this into a "center" Also the before was so much more attractive IMHO. Now it just looks like a cheap closet door.

Meh. Doesn't do it for me. It needs to go a little further to be pulled off. Think dramatic window treatments, moroccan style lighting... something to tie it in. Right now it just looks like the start of a project.

There were definitely things about the BEFORE that I wasn't crazy about, but to me, the AFTER isn't doing it for me either. The scale and placement of the furniture is just NOT working at all. While I am salivating over that table, I hate the location and it appears to be jammed up next to a countertop that has stools? It is just a jarring layout.

That particle board looks horrible and seems like the worst possible material to use around a room that perpetually has water running around it.

re: Sharon's bathroom, is it just me or did she just clean and organize, is that really considered a renovation?
