Another shout out for Bon Ami. It works really well on pots and pans with cooked, caked on food. The Bon Ami seems to give the dish soap just enough abrasive to make cleaning up very easy.

Very cute, though I'd suggest painting the pegboard a fun color to take it up to eleven!

A small fix is the bathroom door that is falling off the top hinges - I'm just lazy.

But sadly, our house needs some major work - a new roof, replacing the fence in the back yard, exterior paint and stucco work. When you are upside down $50k and toying with walking from the house, it pretty much paralizes us from spending big money to fix anything. :(

Great room! I have an aspiring baseball player too, so this gives me lots of inspiration. Minus the Yankees theme of course. :)

Cute and fun, but wouldn't the vacuum cleaner suck up the cars?

Those curtains remind me of pantaloons (in a good way). I need my smelling salts and a fainting couch! :)

To the OP: Maybe that potty is too small for your little dude. We had that same IKEA potty and our son didn't like crouching down so far to be able to sit down on it. He is a tall one though.

Thank you for this! I love AT, but frankly the snark and bad attitude of its audience is really off-putting. Most of the submissions here aren't from professionals and that's why they're great! It provides lots of inspiration for laypersons such as myself. Again, thanks!

I agree with you ernickam. My husband and I spend a lot of our drinking times in brewpubs (instead of bars or clubs) and the more the merrier!

Maybe I'm a sucker for teal, but I love it. I really like the trio of orange mirrors in the bedroom with the small antlers. Clever storage for necklaces. Good work!

Very excited to try this. I desperately need to clean my fireplace but was reluctant to do so because I thought it would be a difficult task.

I've had good luck running jars through the dishwasher to get the labels to unstick. Though you have to fish out the jar when the cycle is finished (not let it sit overnight like I usually do with the dishes). I've found that the labels restick themselves back on if I don't pull them out when they're still hot from the dishwasher!

Love it. I think the shot of the shoes is justified especially because you're mixing up shoe storage with a cork board to pin things up. Though a picture of the outside space would have been great.

Brookein Boston, I always wake up early too, not so much energized, but because the booze messes with my sleep. It's like a little extra punishment for overindulgence, as if the queasy stomach/headache aren't enough :)

I try my best to do a garbage sweep the night before, take a vitamin and a glass of water. Next day, a little hair of the dog (beer) and try to tidy up as quickly as possible, so as not to prolong the misery. Recycle, sweep, clean bathroom. It's typically not too bad.
