You have done all you can. Do you have a landlord that might be helpful? If she/he isn't involved it might be time. I agree with BBrianmo1 that the challenges of a an older multifamily building are not yours to fix. Can you hear them as well? I suggest inviting them for coffee and telling them that you have done all you can to minimize the noise, and that you realistically can do no more. Let them know that you are willing to both continue your efforts and to be forgiving of their noise. However, you need them to stop texting you. If they continue to text. block their number. Sounds like nothing you do will make them happy so give yourself permission to stop trying to accomplish the impossible. How Do I Deal with Neighbor's Excessive Noise Complaints? Good Questions |

Or, you could go to a Michaels store and buy a "Kids color" calender for a $2 and they could color their own. They have several options. I usually buy a whole stack and then give as gifts to all the kids who come to visit for various events from Thanksgiving through Epiphany. Just an idea for the cash challenged among us. @keltrue Great examples! we did something similar to this example from you suggestions. The curtain moves with the door. http://www.flickriver.com/photos/chailey/sets/72157603289890652 But... it just keeps drafts out. No matter what you do, when you open the door cold air comes in, warm air goes out. Even if you build an enclosure this will be true. LOVE IT! Want it! Very clean and zen. As for needing pesticides- don't have dirt under rocks. Weed barrier or some other substance. We have similar rock ground covering and we very seldom have weeds. I haven't had to spray and we have lived here three years. A Cor-Ten Entry Wall Ro/Lu |
