My mother has two pieces of advice for giving birth- don't buy new slippers! She bought new ones when she was packing her bag to give birth to me but when walking through the glossy hospital hallways the new slippers managed to suction onto the floor making each step more painful than the last. And, don't let your husband pack your hospital bag- the lady she shared her room with had her husband pack hers & he brought 2 odd shoes. Not even the same colour. We painted our 2 bedroom home with The Easi Paint System that we bought at a home expo. They were fantastic! Especially around windows & doors, once you worked out the correct amount of paint to load on it & the pressure to apply it. I defiantly recommend it & will use it next time we have to paint. “You don’t have children, you don’t know how difficult it is†is not an appropriate excuse for lazy parents who let there charming little monster ruin everyone’s dining experience. Sure, I don’t have children yet, but I do respect people around me as will my children in the years to come. Get a babysitter, it will work out to cost the same as what you’re paying for his meal that only ends up throwing around. Mmm… most of this may have been directed at my one of my sister in laws & child at our wedding- the thrown food, we actually paid for. Not to mention table decorations, messing up the sound desk, interrupting the speeches etc. But nice to vent in an anonymous environment!
