The light is too much in the first room. The way I save money on pillows is usually by buying them at Ebay or Etsy handmade. They look good & more expensive than what I pay for them.

I like the red chairs. But the rest is too cold & white for me. I would have gone with a buttermilk or light pine stain for the table & bench and an eggshell color & brighter prints for the walls.

Please Alan, what is the name of the paint in the speakeasy room? Is it a dark teal?

Typical bachelor pad colors, but much neater. I'd like to know where he got the white desk chair in front of the 2 Macs.

Would like to know if their business is on the internet or if it is local. I miss the south & have to sell my house to move back. Also, I hate to say it, but I would have to do something about that fireplace.

I like the kitchen work table & would like to know where he got it. I don't care for the books organized by color. I try to keep mine by subject - like all cookbooks together. I would not do the flag curtain, but its ok. What I like most, besides the kitchen table is the outdoor space & the tables/desks placed in front of windows.

The outside doesn't seem to match the inside. The outside is lovely and cottage-like. The inside just doesn't have enough color for me.

I love your fireplace with the venetian mirror over it. I've seen a lot of fireplaces w/ mirrors, but the venetian gives it the right touch.
