Three memory cards??? If you think about a shot, and shoot like you have film, then you don't need three cards... or just get a bigger card. Also depending on what kind of shooter you are, you can shoot with a single small prime lens, I can shoot for days with a 20mm. Device Overload: Carrying to Much Tech, Issues and Solutions |

I don't believe in the use of browser storage of passwords. I do believe in using KeePass. It's cross platform (Linux, PC, Mac, Android, iPhone, Blackberry, J2EE phones, and many more). It can also be ran directly from a flash drive, and gets to the point of complete paranoia. It protects against key logging, has 256 Bit Encryption, Key file to open the Database etc... You can use it for more than your web passwords. The Pros and Cons of Storing Passwords in your Browser |

@jmorey ... What carrier, you could die faster if the skin was attenuating signal strength... If it's CDMA (Verizon/Sprint/Metro PCS) the phone will continuously look for a better signal. Thus shortening battery life. My Tech Top 10: Heather Dale EcoSalon |

I fully agree with @Somgaet it's nice to see someone who isn't a apple fanboy! And the one apple product is old...love it. I'd still be using a mini ipod, but literally my dog ate it. My Tech Top 10: Heather Dale EcoSalon |

Re: 5. Yes it uses power, but there are many arguments against the booting constantly. I'd suggest closing all applications, and then putting it in sleep. I believe there is a third party application that allows for a hibernate mode, which uses less battery power, than sleep. How to Maximize the Battery Life of Your MacBook |

@funstraw... interesting I am a little surprised that that someone would try to implement through the use of the Headphone Jack. Even more interesting, that they are using all the signals (connector has Microphone connections as well). I don't know that much about a IR remotes but my guess it works similar to RS-232, which means the adapter converts the nominal voltage outputs from headphone jack to IR. It's interesting, as a guy I wouldn't really think about the possibility of calling a sewing machine or a hair iron, as tech...but in reality they are! I haven't had to really purchase a vacuum because I have all hardwood floors, and a broom and dust pan work very well...but I would totally rock the Dyson. My Tech Top 10: Taryn Fiol |
