I agree with the post that you should get a nice Mobile phone that takes pics AND video. We have a Canon point and shoot ...and we bought a Kodak Sport Video (similar to the FLIP) so that we could take lots of pics of our toddler and baby, thinking they are compact enough to take lots of pics. WRONG - we still are out and about and I don't have the devices on me. I ALWAYS have my phone on me and wish that I could just use that instead of having 3 devices. Especially when I see my friends posting terrific photos using their mobile phones. (I have an old school phone). If you want to pose and plan when to take pics (which is hard to do after your baby starts walking) then get a nice camera. If you want to catch lots of moments and in lots of settings (outdoors, indoors, bathtub, parties, park playing, pool, etc) then get a mobile phone :) Point-and-Shoot Camera Recommendations Good Questions |

Does anyone know an easy way to get a map to make map art without visiting the location? I want to make one using a specific part of Italy but when I try to pull it up online from google maps to print it does not turn out well. Prefer a FREE way to get the map! :0 Decorating with Maps: I Heart (Fill in Favorite City Here). |

P.S. Did the parents really have such wonderful color coordinating photo props on hand for the photo shoot or did the photographer use photoshop to make the colors of items (ie. the swaddle blanket and knits) match so perfectly? Excited to see a photographer taking things up a notch - to taking home decor into consideration. Plain old taking photos and charging for prints seems like it is out of date. At 20 months old we put a queen size bed mattress on the floor and he sleeps in that. That way I can fit in there when we are reading books or laying him down for bed. Also, we had this on hand from our guest room, so now we won't have to buy multiple beds for age groups. Alternative to estate sale or auction? I'm curious on thoughts of using this or some other medium to liquidate a loved one's estate after their passing.
