I live in an apartment with cinder-block walls that are painted the cheapest glossiest shade of cream. Painting them white or dove gray would be wonderful but against the terms of my lease. My solution has been to invest in large scale artwork (mostly from Etsy). It draws my eye directly away from the horrible walls. Not to mention whoever came up with the velcro wall tabs a 3m needs a medal. Design Challenges for Renters | Apartment Therapy Los Angeles |

I had my senior bfa show in an empty apartment a friend and landlord was having trouble renting out. People thought I was making a statement but in reality the gallery I was originally showing at double booked. The end result looks fantastic. I have the ALBA and love it. It's simple to use and nice looking. As for using a cell I think I would forget to grab my phone every day if I didn't just leave it in my purse. 5 Alarmingly Awesome Alarm Clocks | Apartment Therapy DC |

I might as well be wearing the tin foil on my head for the reactions I would get at the laundromat. Seriously though I would love to try this. Comment of the Day: Aluminum Foil as Dryer Sheet! | Apartment Therapy Chicago |

It's just not an option to go without one in southern Mississippi. In April it's in the 80's and May I can expect the 90's with humidity that just drains the energy right out of you. Live Without: An Air Conditioner Small Space Solutions | Apartment Therapy New York |

The bedspread is from ferm living too. It says out of stock but maybe if you contact them they could restock it. For 99 euros I can see why they ran out. Wall-Mounted Nightstand Envy: Studio by ferm LIVING | Apartment Therapy San Francisco |

First you will need some needle nosed pliers and a lot of persistence to remove the grinder. You can buy lamp kits with a clear cord with the wire inside in silver. If you have trouble finding it locally Amazon is usually a good bet. For the stone you should look up a local stone place where they make custom counters. I got a piece of broken marble cut down for a dough board once at one of those places and was charged four dollars. Good luck Source for Attractive DIY Lamp Kits? You can work wonders with car upholstery repair kits. There are plenty of kits on Amazon and they are really easy. I used to help do detail work on vintage cars when I was a teenager. Since you won't have to mix colors it should be pretty simple. Repair Source for Damaged Vinyl Chair? Good Questions | Apartment Therapy Los Angeles |

I was really excited when I heard that this magazine was coming out, but was quickly disappointed. All of the edge and vigor are missing in this magazine when I compare it to Domino. I was bored stiff looking at the photos and didn't even bother with the articles. I felt like I was looking at an online copy of Better Homes and Gardens. Apartment Therapy DC | Lonny is Live! I've been collecting a similar type of candle holders by the same company. They are even harder to find so I don't even know a lot about them yet. I would love to find a base or find out if they fit in the bowl like the one in the picture. Apartment Therapy DC | Collection: Nagel Chrome Candle Holders |
