My experience completely contradicts this! I craved milk, cheese and milk products when I was pregnant and have eaten a banana every single morning for the last 10 years of my life...my 17 month old HATES all milk products and cannot stand bananas. We use it all the time in Indian cooking. Its called ghee. You can cook in it (as one would use oil), put a dollop of it on rice and lentils, and season dishes with it. Basic Techniques: How to Brown Butter |
