i grew in asia too and the term is quite vague. i think he means japanese.you can see many a japanese garden with that type of wooden framework and trees and shrubs around it. all in all i think it looks great. i would love create something a bit smaller for my front drive which is completely paved apart from one section which has a monkey puzzle tree

we have a dyson and it does a reasonable cleaning job although it is a bit cumbersome. my main problem with it is that when you come to empty the cylinder of all the collected dust, it is a distinctly unhygienic and unpleasant process. in retrospect i would have bought a bagged vacuum cleaner. and now with a cat in the household, my next vacuum cleaner is a miele. the dyson is still functional and i cannot justify throwing it away. so i am waiting till it bites the dust.

saw this build on grand designs and enjoyed it tremendously. i think kevin was really enthusiastic about your project. your engineering skills were great as well. it was so much more than an average housebuild because there was so much innovation and you did most of the innovations yourself.
