I sleep with my iPod, I put on the timer to go off after 30 minutes and listen to a boring audio book. the voice is important. It can't be irritating. I find this works for me because I don't hear the voices in my head (did you turn off the stove, i forgot to mail that letter, have to pay the bill tomorrow etc.) I used to have trouble falling asleep but I don't now. What Helps You Sleep? |

There was a period when I kept a lot of stuff for a garage sale. This went on for years. I finally had the sale and literally filled my garage with junk at the end of the day I think we made $100.00. It was a beautiful day that we could have spent outside. I thought of all the junk that cluttered my house and now the stuff goes right to charity. Let someone who needs it get it. I live in Montreal and I do take part in the festivals. It wouldn't be summer without the Jazz festival, the comedy festival, walking across the bridge to see the fireworks. I even submitted a film for the m60 festival. It is great to live in a city that is medium size. I live in the suburbs but am a 20 minute drive to down town but lately I take the metro. My daughter is moving out. It is her place she could do what she wants as long as I am welcome in her place. I know all the dirty words. I would never dream of a bad comment because it isn't my business anymore. It is freedom for me too. If I give her a gift she doesn't like I would prefer she tell me so I won't waste my money. 2 years ago it was colder in San Francisco than Montreal at Christmas time.
