It's a little... messy for my taste, all the different color contrasts clash, and I can't help but see it as sort of like a jigsaw puzzle, it looks like someone pulled drawers out of 4 different dressers and tried to make it work. The fact that the rest of the dresser doesn't match ANY of the drawers makes it even worse... The non-matching hardware from 2 different eras tear the look apart even further...sorry, NO.

If you're going to go with a printed rug, solid curtains would be a wiser choice because other-wise the patterns will clash, and give the room "visual noise". If you choose a color that's in the same palette as the base color of the rug and the walls, it would tie the room together and give it a clean, calm feel. Patterned/floral throw pillows would give your room some drama without clashing.

Although the before is very bright an' happy, it flows, everything is tied together in perfect harmony... The after seems to be... forced, almost like the pieces were picked out to fit the look, but not the feel.

The blue looks so much cleaner, crisper, like the room is airy and big, but the pink doesn't look bad, it gives the space a warm touch.
