I use the Urban chairs from IKEA at my kitchen table (round wood pedestal table from C&B) and I love them! I also have a toddler, so their perfect for climbing and moving around. they don't scratch the floors or topple over easily. I also have the toddler version that kinda looks like a mini bar stool!

jillandmo - it does get gross. we drilled a hole in one corner and placed it on a drying rack type pad. we still had to clean it every week. it still worked better for the drop in style bottles, but was sorta a pain.

im still a Boon fan though and just pre ordered their new shelves.

I found an Eames lounger in perfect condition at a thrift store for $100. You can find a lot of amazing things at thrift stores. I don't buy expensive furniture, but I still love looking at it.

we have this issue too, and to make matters worse we get fined by our HOA if our sidewalks aren't cleared in a "timely" manner. my husband is at work close to 16 hours a day (long commute) and i have a very hyper 1 year old who doesn't like the snow, so i feel your pain. i usually dont get out to shovel the snow until mid afternoon, many hours after my neighbors finished.
i read some of these comments and i wonder if my neighbors think im lazy too.
im not lazy, just overwhelmed.

but i also agree with a lot of others, its just a part of having clear, safe, roads.

my little one loves her sofa!
she scoots it over next to ours and "reads" to herself.

We bought the Dwell Studio Silver Lake Crib in Dark Brown last year and still love it!
two draw backs though:
the finish comes off easily when chewed on and its hard to find railing covers that fit. luckily my little one is (hopefully) past that stage.
and the drawers on the bottom collect dust easily b/c they are basically open, also once the crib is lowered the crib skirt covers the drawers completely, and with the skirt you can see right into the drawers.
we then bought the matching dresser and im a little disappointed in the wasted space in the drawers, they look like they are all different sizes, but only the fronts are, the actual drawers are all shallow.
