I buy my fish frozen, especially shrimp since it tends to be fresher than the "fresh" shrimp at the counter at my local supermarket. I stock up at Costco.. they have great salmon burgers and good deals on shrimp. I also buy frozen fruit for smoothies, and frozen veggies in the winter when there's nothing local available. I won an XO in a contest last year and I had no idea what to do with it, because my daughter is not nearly old enough to use it. A friend told me she uses hers for checking e-mail and feeds around the house, which gave me the idea to start bringing my XO into the kitchen! We bought one of these after considering how much money we spend on seltzer, and how much of an impact we were having on the environment because of all the plastic bottles we were using. Cost-wise, it's definitely worth the initial layout of cash... one carbonator makes 100 liters of seltzer. I gave up coffee completely for my first trimester but now that I'm 4 months, I look forward to having my coffee again. I have one cup a day, if even that and I've become very very choosy about my coffee because I don't want to waste my one cup on a crappy coffee. :) And like everyone else said, everything in moderation.
