I think it is a good idea. I hate sleeping with someone, I like having my own blankets, and I flip over a lot due to joint issues. Works for me.

I did this with cotton rugs from Big Lots, but sewed them together with matching carpet thread and a big needle. I dyed them with Rit Liquid Dye then soaked them in cold water and salt to keep the dye in. I wash the big rug and matching front door rug on delicate and hang to dry once a month and they still looks good.
Glad others do this too!

Absolutely lovely, and enhanced by the writing style in the survey. It all fits. Bravo!

Fun, quirky style. Really like it. I always read all the comments of the tours I like, and I don't think carpeting is evil, and if your dining area is a nook, so be it. Live and let live.

I have been a craigslist spelling snob for quite a while. We have so many spellings of armoire (armere, armur, armer, armire), ottoman (automan, otterman, auman), dining (dinning), wrought (rod, rot), window (winder), mirror (mirro, mirrer, mirrow), chest of drawers (chester, draws), for sale (for sell), the list goes on and on....
All caps bothers me too.
The sheer amazement that someone had this gosh awful stuff in his/her house.
Ikea for more than it cost at the store is ludicrous also.
What a person paid for an item means nothing to me.
Comparative prices on ebay are unneeded.
My favorite is people who increase their prices when it doesn't sell. WTF?
Differing prices in the header and in the body of the ad infuriates me, and not just $1 in the header and more in the ad, but $125 in the header and $150 in the ad, for example.
No location in the city is annoying.
And for some reason in Indy we have a war going on between mattress sellers (dealers) and others...they post to each other back and forth often. It is so bizarre.
But I still love craigslist, am addicted to it, and will continue to read the ads out loud to whomever will listen. It's a guilty pleasure.
And once in a while I will buy something tres cool.
Thanks for this AT, I love that I am not the only one! And the comments are a hoot!

Wow. Really wow. Love the bookcase wall. And although I know virtually nothing about you, this apartment seems to suit you better than the house from the previous tour.
My one question- how do you make the guest room (loft) bed? Just the thought scares me....

I like plates on walls, and think these are very interesting arrangements. But I agree, LOVE the chairs!

Love, love, love. Funny I saw the photo of the daybed on Flickr over the weekend before I saw the whole tour, and loved it. Fresh, clean, uncluttered and welcoming.

*sigh* amazing use of an itty bitty space. Great ideas for us mere decorating mortals. I stunned my friends by saying I want to live in a micro house (I live in Indy where you can still get land at a reasonable price), but at their next gasps I will proffer your digs. Stylish, eco-conscious, and beautiful. Kudos.

Like! Very interesting details. I like that you have the shelves, I have a set-up something like that, but I would suggest painting them to match the walls. Really fun!
