Make sure your immersion blender has a metal tip-- the ones with a plastic tip will melt, especially with foods that have a thick consistency.

Quick Tip: Use Your Immersion Blender to Puree Fruit

I just made these today and would have to agree with the previous commenter about the disappointment with the outcome! I made no changes to the recipe and I came out with extremely stale rice krispies treats. I waited for the marshmallow mixture to cool completely and after letting it sit for 30 minutes, most of the crunchiness was gone. Another 30 more and the treats are completely stale.

The taste is great but if you like the crunchiness of the regular rice krispies treats, I would suggest you eat them out of the bowl right away without putting it into a pan.

I absolutely love mentaiko spaghetti (or tarako spaghetti if using the non-spicy roe)! I always squeeze some lemon juice on top to lighten the buttery/creamy taste. Just made it a couple of nights ago. YUM!

I'm a little confused. I'm really interested in buying this product but does it make coffee or espresso? Or both? To make regular coffee (like drip coffee) do you just put less coffee grinds?

Ironing board-- fun! I have to say though, in the picture, the spoon is "stabbed" in the mashed potatoes-- this isn't a great thing in many Asian cultures as it represents death. It's usually chopsticks that are stuck vertically into a bowl of rice and I see too many food sites that have pictures of this when showing off their dish. Just thought it'd be good to note so you don't offend your guests!

I would suggest you get one that is metal-- plastic ones melt if you are pureeing hot soup (I speak from experience!)

I've traveled on 12 hour flights with frozen food in my checked luggage without a problem. I would usually wrap/ziploc the food and then put it in an insulated bag. I do add a few frozen gel packs to keep them cool but only because the items were seafood items. I don't think it would be a problem with cooked foods.
