beautiful but a bit boring. albeit it's one of the best posts i've seen on this site (which is perhaps why i'm trying it so hard) but it lacks that final push for me... it's nice when a home gives some sense of the owners' personality-- while there's a lot of thought to its design, there appears to be a struggle between minimalist architecture and personal style. it seems very serious through its order and furniture selections. Everything is SO tasteful i want to see some hint of a flaw-- i'm dying to see one conversation piece or something kitschy stashed in the corner.

I do like it quite a bit and there is little to nothing to find erroneous, but I am a contrarian. the restoration and design are well done.
