There are many things I like about your home..paint colors, furnishings, collections but the kilim rug up the stairs is the star for me.

This place is in the top 1% of Apartment Therapy's "House Tours". It surely seems larger than 675 square feet. I am so impressed with your custom-built media console and the similar unit in the office area. I like the scale and arrangement of your furniture. Your kitchen is handsome, spacious and must be very efficient. The artwork and photos on the walls is arranged perfectly.

I'm looking forward to perusing your blog.

Looks Great! I like the idea of waxing over a painted surface. I bet it makes a very nice finish.

I think the redo is absolutely perfect. It's pleasing to look at and appears very practical. I say that Jarret "nailed it"! It's 100% improved.
The tree stump coffee table adds a lot of character and interest but I can understand the change that was made later to one that could double as a dining table.

Sensory overload. I would enjoy it more if they had 1/4 the amount of stuff. It's hard to appreciate individual items when they get lost in the crowd.

This place is just right...all the necessities and plenty of charm. Looks nice and cozy. I suspect Grandma may have had an eye for aesthetics instead of an atheistic eye.

I especially love the bay window area. The woodwork, furnishings, textiles, colors are all very appealing. I would like to see a house tour.

SUPER kitchen and dining area. Nice in every way. How are you liking your cork floor? I would like to replace our Pergo kitchen floor with cork. What is the counter material?

The pocket doors must be great.

Nicely furnished and arranged. Love the hall rug. Lucky you that it was a gift..that's wonderful!!

I would consider using fewer towels, folding them smaller, and having a nice piece of fabric, that's complementary to the hall rug, covering the shelves where the towels are stashed. You could hang it with a tension rod or Velcro.

Good work on your new home. You've made lots of good choices, except for the awful gun print over the sofa. Seems like it would bother you and any one else who looked at it, especially after the recent awful event in Aurora.
