I have the Carter sectional, as do a handful of my friends, and it is awesome. Great fabric, great construction, you can fit 2 families on it or sleep 2 grown ups. Borax IS a good idea, and for a child to ingest 5 grams, that would be a lot. Hopefully there would be no reason for your kid to be licking the cracks in the floor or your foundation. What worked for me was mixing borax with sugar water and dropping that near the cracks in the floor where the ants were coming into my kitchen. I think people are confusing real japanese living style with zen-minimalist designer style. real japanese kitchens are tiny and cluttered, feature rather large rice cookers, rarely have an oven, and usually have these ugly water heaters on the wall. Violetsrose - Dogs are omnivores and scavengers, after all the breeding and domesticating probably more akin to coyotes than wolves... And what the person meant by "what do you think dogs ate before that?" was that until about 60 years ago and the invention of commercial dog food, domestic dogs ate human food leftovers, and people thought it was very silly to buy special separate food for your pet. Still, in many countries pets or working dogs eat human food leftovers and the pet food industry would be inconceivable for people who barely have access to food for themselves.
