I think the contrast of the rural setting and barn-like exterior with the cool modern interior are what makes this work. But its definitely necessary to get the full picture.

Wow. I want to move into #1. I don't care if the sun wakes me up if it wakes me up in there.

They make an 18" apartment size dishwasher. That gives you space for some storage shelves there too! Mostly, I find a dishwasher to be handy when you have a lot of people over. Its nice to just throw everything in and have more time to spend with my guests.

That floor plan is sooo cute. Anyone know what program was used to create it or have any suggestions for good ones?

Paint over it! I'm a real estate agent, and the bottom line is that mural IS NOT going to help sell your house. Any time I show a house full of art and personal items, my buyer and I spend more time talking about the stuff then the space.

The danger is, it could HURT a sale by distracting a buyer from the many different potential uses for that room or giving them more excuses for putting in a low offer. For some people, painting is a daunting task. You want the biggest pool of potential buyers as is possible.

I'm prone to tackling LARGE projects. Recently, I came to the realization that I need to give myself credit for finishing portions of the project instead of concentrating on all the other things that need to be done. For instance. I just finished hanging all the drywall in my bathroom reno project. Its not taped or muded or near paint ready. But its 100% hung!

Totally unrelated. I painted one of my kitchen cabinet doors a bright teal sometime last winter and decided that wasn't the color for me. Every time someone new comes over to my house they ask if I'm painting the cabinets that color, and I have to explain that no, I'm probably going with white. It's been there so long I don't even notice it anymore.
