We have this one:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00A35ZEJ4/?ref=cm_sw_r_pi_dp_Cl1Mqb163262F

It collapses and you really can push it like pictured (the wheels look weird in the picture, but they were just normal in person). I got so sick having to replace the pop-up cheap kind. This should last forever! Yay!

Here's one with a smaller footprint, but still industrial. It collapses, which is nice for moving.

The "poster" of the trucks is amazing. Perfect for my son who LOVES trucks.

Except that it seems to come in cards rather than a poster. Also, if you want just the alphabet it is a limited edition ($$$ ?), rather than all 500 cards.

Am I missing something or can anyone figure out how to buy it/them (the cards)?

That was really fun to read! I forgot my initial question about what their jobs were until I read cerise518's comment. It still makes me think about doing a short term exchange- someday.

Regarding the Southwest article:

We recently traveled with them and had a great experience. We were moving across the country so I didn't have internet access to get on the "A" list (computer was already crossing the country). However, they saw my son and myself and made sure to let us at the front of the line (maybe the "B" line? I can't remember).

There were plenty of seats available. The stewardess pointed out a spot next to a pregnant woman near the rear of the plane and that worked out perfect. It's possible I was lucky to be on a flight that wasn't completely full. Everyone was super helpful.

They did knock the cup out of our cup holder on our stroller and I imagine that took some effort. Also, don't be dumb like me and think they might feed you dinner just because your flight is a long distance. Peanust and crackers are not a meal:0)

Oooo, isn't that a controversial title!

Anyway, I did read the article and like Stephanie said "a lot of people have identified having a child as a main reason they decided to go green". That's what I got out of it.

However, I would like to respond to another comment. The world is for people and not vice versa. I grew up in Canada (well, for 7yrs. of my childhood) where we talked about taking care of the environment long before this eco-chic started. So it is ingrained in me and really something I believe in.

However, the world is here for our use. We should not be limiting the number of children we have, solely based on worries about overpopulation. We should take care of the earth, but not have fears control our lives.

Happy birthday!

I should be saying happy birthday to all, if I'm going to say it to one, but I just have to add that he looks a lot like my son!

I'll haul four loads of laundry up the street and back, but I hate doing dishes. To me that means filling the sink and hand washing them. Then putting them away after.

We just moved and one of my top priorities was a dishwasher. Now I have no problem with them! Life is GOOD!

Great post. I kind of have felt that indoor plants are just one more thing to take care of, but we've recently moved to Connecticut where most of our neighbours smoke and it drifts into our apartment (lovely- I'm prego and we have another little one already).

I think some plants will definitely be worth the investment. Now I know which one to buy and no excuses. Thank you!

Very attractive. I worry a little about splinters, but I guess that's what sandpaper is for. Wish we could get fruit and veggies in cute boxes in our area too!

Great entry! Very simple, very cozy.

You are right about the rug being the "unifying element". It's perfect.

Also, I love to see an entry from those whose previous posts show that they participate in our AT community!

Gosh people. It's not impossible for a couple with a baby to live in a small space.

We have comfortably lived in our 550sq. feet with our son who is 19 months old and it's not nearly as chic as this place. We moved our bed out to the living room to give us our own space. Plus, I have my art supplies here, my sewing machine and fabric etc. as well as a habit of collecting furniture. Not saying we're so cool, but that if I can do it almost anyone can do it.

We are moving to a two bedroom soon, but that's only due to an internship and baby #2 who is on the way.
