I love that I can see the twinkling lights of houses and cars on distant San Francisco hills from my bed. Part of what my bedroom overlooks is a tangle of freeways, but they're far enough away that they look beautiful, especially at night. My bedroom also gets morning sun, which is always welcome! There's so much more I could have written about this neighborhood if I'd had the space to do it. Succulence is one of my favorite stops, I love Four Star Video, and Piqueo's (Peruvian food) is one of my all-time favorite restaurants in San Francisco.

I also haven't had a land line in years, but I definitely feel nostalgic towards the family phone I grew up with. I realize that I really liked knowing that I was calling a phone in a specific house and that when the phone rang you had no idea who it was.
