I would rather own a 10,000 mattress that will last 10 years or more that is made in the USA that supports a family here, than 1,000 mattress made in china by child labor that will be kicked to the curb in 5 years or less.

I am in the middle of a Kitchen gut-remodel, and what I have been doing before I go in to give another day of work, is go into my Bathroom, which we gutted and remodeled this past winter, it helps me remember what I am looking forward to in the kitchen, the end result. I get pumped and eager to work.

Looking at Whippet's comment, I might try the blow dryer on cool to dry it off.

I did it once when I lived in Brooklyn. The dust and dirt there is thick and heavy, it couldn't be cleaned off any other way. I had no problems with rust. I had it air dry on a towel. We lived in a loft with 13 windows, so we had good ventilation. I am going to clean it again soon, now that I have a back yard, I am going to let it dry out in the sun hanging from the clothes line.

I take it off the pendant light, and soak it in a bucket of mild soapy water for a few minuets then rinse it under the shower, or in a clean bucket of water.
