I like earbuds. Most are cheap, light and the rubber makes some noise isolation, so I think they're a must. I like Urbanears for its colors and design. They're not the best regarding sound, but are stylish and relatively cheap. The Urbanears Plattan in Moka look good, have a built-in mic and button to play/pause and control Siri con the iPhone. They're good for working, listening to music on the couch or even walking. Since they're foldable and have a headphone out port, they're great for travelling and sharing music or movies. I also have a new pair of Urbanears Bagis in Indigo, whick also have the mic/button thing on the cord and the buds themselves can clip to each other avoiding the regular tangling of most earbuds. The sound is good, in both models, at least better than Apple's and most on it's price/category, and I love the fabric cord, seems durable and helps avoiding the tangling too.

I have a decent Canon and the Apple Camera Connection Kit for my iPad. Not as high tech I guess but it works for me.

I hate the thing over the fireplace. I would hang the TV over the fireplace and put a bookshelf on that corner. I love the window and the sofas, all looks very warm. Also, consider some paintings, framed photographs for the walls.

What about Bose, Grado or even Senheiser? Even Sony have really good cans...
I'm currently using a pair of Plattan by Urbamears. They look really good, very durable and the sound is ok. Also, there is a builtin mic so you can answer incoming calls, and have a jack so a friend can connect and share the experience, ideal for watching movies

I really like the setup, although I agree that it could look better. Still, I didn't like the post, it doesn't explain what was achieved and how. I must asume Minhembio used a DAC to get the the best sound possible to the Marantz amplifier, and explain the ups and downs of it... otherwise it might just look like a computer with some giants speakers connected to it.

I think Spotify is the best, I used it for around six months and it is definitely the best streaming service ever, not only for its interface but also the audio quality. It lacks some artists of my like but overall it is the best.

Grooveshark is the service I use now since the limited access Spotify has outside Europe. I paid for the yearly subscription and now I have access to my music not only at home but at work and my mobile devices. On the iPhone and Android I can make playlist available offline and works great, although the sound quality is not as good as in Spotify, or at least I perceibe it that way.
