Eek! No butter or vegetable oil, you need to use lard (other pork fat or bacon fat is ok for paprikas). And while potatoes or even rice soaks up the sauce nicely, I agree with the spaetzle contingent: best accompaniment possible. Recipe Research: Looking for Chicken Paprikash |
